Story *Note the tiles in this art are staggered and not necessarily centered on strap.   I spent the year after my college graduation working remotely from my childhood bedroom. There’s nothing like waking up to your 13-year-olds self’s design choices to humble you a bit. It certainly wasn’t where I wanted to be. For the three years prior, I had planned to find a job in an entirely new city and spend my early twenties going on exciting adventures. Then I spent a year sitting in my room alone in my hometown. Job applications came and went, sometimes without even a courteous response. My self-confidence in my skills plummeted and I wondered if I had made all the wrong choices on my way to that moment (I earned a BA in English from an engineering and agriculture university, so the odds seemed stacked against me).
