Never Too Far

Story About two years ago, I set out with the goal to write a book that I wanted to get out and in front of a literary agent by the end of 2020. As things go, life got a bit in the way. Oh, and a pandemic, but we’ll move right along from that. Anyway, I kept telling myself, “I’ll get back to it. I just need a little time.” A little time became a few months, which turned into two years. Needless to say, I’m now extremely intimidated by the thought of going back to revise that project because it’s been so long. I feel too far away from that creative side of me that existed back in early 2020. The thing is, the feeling of separation can exist with anything.
